I'm intrigued by these new "secret" (read: intentionally leaked for hype) tapes of George W.
It's easier to respect the man if would just say: "Hey, I messed myself up on drugs. I did it, it screwed up my life and only because I got over it am I here today."
Barbara Bush (the matriarch, not the daughter) gave a great response to a question about the "wild" (read: spoiled and trashy) ways of her granddaughters Barbara and Jenna. It was along the lines of "He deserves it for all the grief he gave us."
I still won't vote for his successor in 2008.
