The Sydney Morning Herald boasts a great article that argues that in the hype over Australian drama, the networks have forgotten that they are good at comedy.
I agree, particularly after the last pair of episodes of Canal Road were damn near satire.
Andrew Denton would probably make a killing producing a parody of a typical drama series.

too bad the american remake of "kath and kim" was such a failure.
Gina & Jane should've been more assertive in exercising creative control.
