Inspired by a conversation I had recently with a friend of mine in respect to modern life and the political process. You might notice that all of a sudden I flip into a Southern accent. It's a quirk.

you are so right that people make up their minds about who to vote for (whether it's for the presidency or american idol) using only superficial criteria -- while ignoring substantive issues. in fact, come to think of it, bush is the sanjaya of presidents.
