Perhaps it’s the weather down here, but I think Aki Kara no Summer Time (our summertime that came after autumn) as performed gamely* by Yuuko Nitou seems apropos today. (At least with my out-of-sorts body clock which is still geared for the Northern Hemisphere.)
* Did she just complete a marathon before going onstage or what?

i think the cycling shorts were supposed to be a fashion statement (one that is consistent with japanese modesty of "good girls").
but her performance was pretty listless. so maybe she did run a marathon before performing this song?
