Speaking of smoke around flames, Virginia Republican Gubernatorial candidate Jerry Kilgore is proclaiming "55 days until victory" on his website.
I point to his media page where Jerry speaks in only two of his ads. I don't know how anyone can even take this man seriously. I mean he sounds like the offspring of Gomer Pyle and Alan Sues! My great aunt who lives in Lynchburg finds him hilarious.
See and hear La Kilgore praise teachers. (He married a teacher, but alas no "gay city" shout-out.)
The comedy fan in me wants him to win just because you know he will say "go-l-ly!" at some point.
However, for my great aunt's sake, I'll wait to see him queen it out in his concession speech.
