Birthday Post-Mortem Part 2: A Leben Oif Dein Kop

It was ultimately a good night with a surprise amount of comps from Splash (even though I didn't even mention my birthday) and a pleasant shock over the fact that the handsome doorman there likes me...a lot.

So I was expecting a quiet night of rest once got home with dremas that wouldn't linger into the daylight.

Wrong.

It's not that these were bad dreams, not in the slightest, it's just that the symbolism is a bit tricky to figure out:
  1. 9 1/2 Weeks starring myself and Hank Azaria. It makes sense on some level, since he's very handsome, but this was the wan and gaunt Hank Azaria from two years ago.
  2. In some bizarre alternate universe of the prep school that I attended--which seemed to be heavily peppered with gay couples and a lot more diverse than the Teutonic place of my memory--I watched the first 2 minutes of Guns N' Roses' video for "You Could Be Mine" on a loop from a couch in the middle of the hallway while being flirted with by a Portugese exchange student.

If these are some indicators of what lies ahead for me in 2007...oy.
