I stumbled across Jason Walker on the late lamented Q Television Network, and have enjoyed his work since.

the afterelton blogger says: "heath [ledger] and jake gyllenhaal were willing to take on the roles of ennis and jack when so many other actors ran shrieking from them." actually, it was quite the opposite. for some time now, lots of actors want to play gay characters as a way of proving their acting chops (in the same way that drunks, prostitutes and the disabled were used by previous generations of actors to burnish their credentials). charlize theron took this strategy to new levels when she won the oscar for best actress with her performance of a lesbian in "monster" -- which came out 2 years before brokeback mountain.
i like house music, too. but you seem to suggest that there's a 12 step program for it. well, if house is an addiction, then i'm proud to be a junkie.
i'd never heard of jason walker before, but i like the two songs you posted. still, it was a little jarring to realize that, instead of a black female vocalist (which is practically de rigeur for house music), it was a white man singing in falsetto. kudos to jason walker for turning my silly little expectations upside down.
