Tasmania is often one of the more forgotten places when it comes to Australian filming locations (well
not as much as South Australia), but a new B to Z Grade Canadian film shooting there has merited
an article on ABC News Online.
Why?
Because:
1) So few films are shot in Hobart.
2) It's actually set in Hobart.
Call it just a hunch, but I think you might see an uptick in
Tasmanian filming, unless the Kiwis start throwing tax breaks like no tomorrow.

good for hobart. maybe if they get a film industry, the tasmanians will become less conservative.
