i'm not sure i see the irony, but i like your comment about how we're still waiting for an admission of bias in media in the u.s.
in america's case, though, i don't think it's about the overall media having a particular bias for or against any particular candidate (obviously there are exceptions for individual news outlets, such as fox news, but i'm looking at the whole cacophony of media in the u.s.). instead of showing bias, i think the overall media exhibits a naivete that makes it easy for politicians to manipulate the news. so, if the american media can be accused of anything, i believe it should be laziness and stupidity.
