Now it's the Actors' turn

SAG is going to strike--or rather they are highly encouraging their members to vote for one, according to the Associated Press.

AFTRA (the smaller similar union that also covers radio) settled with the studios/major producers.

The sticking points for SAG seem to be relatively similar to the ones brought up during the Writers' Strike: new media residuals (royalties).

I sympathise with them, but I think it will be a harder sell for SAG to win over public opinion.

why is it a harder sell for sag than for the writers? because people think actors already make tons of money?
