Sunday is for Eccentrics

Like the BBC, I'm not going to call this man crazy, but he certainly is on the border between eccentric and having a psychological disorder.

All that being said, I somewhat understand where he is coming from:
  • The population density of Japan is such that perhaps the solitude of a foreign airport (even if that airport serves one of the largest cities in the world) is quite appealing.
  • Airports allow you to experience a country--somewhat--with a degree of comfort and security.
Nonetheless, he's living on kindness and hasn't showered. So it can't be all that admirable.

he may not be crazy, but perhaps his sanity is questionable.

my favorite part is where he says "i wanted to breathe the air of Mexico at the airport" -- which is a bit odd considering mexico city's notorious air pollution.
