It was one of the better promotional campaigns of the 1980's, but looking back from 2006, "Let's All Be There" was kind of cringeworthy.
Apparently, it also was international as well.
For maximum cringe, watch this NBC promo from 1988 featuring a "dancing" Michael Landon.
It really was just all downhill from that point on for the Peacock, wasn't it?

Pobble, there's a CBS promo from the 1990s featuring Dan rather saying "I spend too much time doing promos and not enough doing news."
