my favorite quote on this subject was from the character "buddy" (played ingeniously by scott thompson from kids in the hall):
"gay marriage is only for the ugly ones."
however bitchy the comment, there's a grain of truth to it. after all, if you're hot, the opportunity cost of being with only one person for the rest of your life is pretty high. on the other hand, if you're not attractive, then you might as well lock someone in permanently because you're options are already limited.
before anyone criticizes me, i'm not saying i agree with the quote... it just amuses me tremendously.

oops. that "you're" should be "your." i've been making lots of typos lately. i really must proofread more often.
Personally, I think the quote is funny as hell.
