The multi-network Cancer initiative, StandUp2Cancer is tonight.
Given how much it's taken a toll on me this past year--as someone who has had several people close to me affected by it, I cannot stress how important it is that this disease in its many forms be fought.
The event may have a daft name, but its cause is just.

i heard of this charity a couple weeks ago, and i thought "stand up" was an odd turn of phrase. glad i'm not the only one.
