First it was the ABC's turn, and now it's Nine's. Except in this instance, the reporter is only accused of using a concealed listening device, it's what he was recording that is interesting.
As an American, the fact that this was A Current Affair (and the reputation that the US version had) makes this even funnier.
Nonetheless, mayors plotting to kidnap and kill rentboys? We don't get stuff like that anymore on our tabloid television.

how lurid. oh, and i have a friend who is absolutely certain that the former mayor of waverly was really looking to avenge an injustice committed against one of his friends.
