British Airways is in merger talks with Qantas.

Now, Australia has similar rules to US in regards to foreign ownership, which is that Australian companies or shareholders must own the majority of shares, so just how much of a merger the two can do is rather interesting.

Plus the fact that BA is about to merge with Iberia.

'Twill be interesting to see if this goes further. Admittedly, Qantas needs some help, but is going back to the motherland the answer?
