HBO starts rolling out its Saddam Hussein miniseries this Sunday, in the similar multipart format as John Adams.
Whereas John Adams was very dry and almost mind-numbingly mundane at times, House of Saddam is pretty much Harold Robbins meets Jackie Collins in Iraq.

i liked the john adams series. though i can understand how you'd think it was a bit dry, i thought it was fascinating.
