May Day: For Peace, For Respect, For Solidarity

I'm going to let the music speak for me today.

Granted, this is filed under a section called "Songs for Communist Youth," and I think the Communists are a little out there, but the sentiment is in the right place.

The other song is the (in)famous "Red Flag," whose lyrics for the most part do still ring a bit true today, especially these two verses:

"It waved above our infant might,
When all ahead seemed dark as night;
It witnessed many a deed and vow,
We must not change its colour now.

It well recalls the triumphs past,
It gives the hope of peace at last;
