The perfect man is a triumvirate

I ran this theory pass my trainer several days ago. (Note: he's married with children and 2 years my senior.)

It takes three people to make one person feel fulfilled:

• One serves as your confidante; the person who you tell all your dark secrets to.
• One serves as your lover (okay, fuck-buddy, stud, stallion, etc.)
• One serves as your helper; they help you clean house, help out with bills if need be...

If any one person can fit 2 of those slots, then you settle down with them, and figure out a way to get the third need met without losing the other two. When all three needs are met, then life is not necessarily perfect, but it runs a lot smoother.

My trainer's response: "I guess I got lucky."

So says he.
