how far thru manhattan did this smell drift? what a weird story ... i smell that all the time on the streets ..
I smelled it. And there are reports of it going up as far as Harlem.
Every so often you can still smell the molasses (sp?) from the molasses flood in Boston. Did we, perhaps, miss a great maple syryp flood in NY???
